..was a total bust. The boys and I picked up food at KFC, then stopped to get Jason so we could all go have a picnic at the park near daddy's office. I thought it would be fun, since we drive by it all the time, and it has one of the larger playsets for kids. But we got there, and saw this...
You'll note the parts that say the park is not open in the middle of the day, nor do they allow food and drink inside the park. Ooops.

Yes - Jason commented on the "no playing" rule. If you ask me, it's a mean joke to put up a playset, then tell kids they can't play. :)
Well the reason they won't allow people to bring in foodstuffs in there is probably because it results in a lot of litter in terms of wrappers, cans and leftovers. And the timings are to encourage early morning joggers and late evening families. The middle of the day is more likely to attract unemployed blokes and college students bunking classes - I guess.
