So, I have a new software package called Artisteer that lets me design my own blogger templates, and I'm having way too much fun. Just a warning, this blog may look crazy for a while as I experiment.

I'm intrigued...what kind of program does it run on? Would it work on my mac? What exactly does it offer on the templates?

They have a Mac version in beta that is downloadable on their website (www.artisteer.com). The program has the look and feel of the 2007-10 MS Office Suite, with ribbons along the top that allow you to change layouts, colors, pictures, etc. It's really nice for someone like me who sucks at design. The templates are exportable in many different formats - HTML, Blogger, Wordpress, Joomla, and others I've never used. I'm a big fan.

I guess I should mention, since it looks like you do web design - I'm pretty sure this program simply exports the CSS to your host. For Blogger, it doesn't do much, but for Joomla or Wordpress, I imagine it gives you access to the code if you need to make tweaks to the template created. My husband likes it because it allows him to get the painful "framework" of a website hammered out quickly, then he changes the code in small places to customize.
