Jason posted this on Facebook, but just in case you missed it, I thought I'd share it here. Remember seeing the news about 6.something million people losing power in India due to a couple of failures in their infrastructure? Luckily, Bangalore was not affected.

But...Jason may have captured a clue as to what the issue is...

You tell me? Is electrical equipment supposed to be this - flamey?

That's a faulty transformer. I hope you reported it to 1800-425-26-27 (BESCOM's toll free complaint call centre) after you were done poking fun at 'India Electricity'.

As Electrical work also need maintenance in consequent time.Most of the new infrastructures have good electrical work.Problem generally occurs with electrical part due to so many reasons just like voltage, any coupling of wire, heating or rise in temperature.This can be overcome by asking near by electrical contractors or electricians to cover up.
